We offer four standard sizes of moving boxes that enable you to pack most efficiently and many specialty boxes for those odd sized lamps and pictures. Acorn Mini Storage also has a large assortment of bubble wrap, foam wrap, packing peanuts, shrink wrap, and wrapping paper to protect your items before your box them for storage. To protect your furniture for moving and/or storage we offer mattress bags, sofa and chair covers, dust covers, and drop cloths.
If you are planning to move your belongings into storage yourself, you can pick up a rental truck at the Acorn Mini Storage location where you will be storing your belongings. Every Acorn Mini Storage location is an affiliated U-Haul dealership. We can provide you with a full range of moving trucks and trailers for local or one-way moves nationwide. Every U-Haul truck features an automatic transmission, air conditioning, smooth-ride suspension, aerodynamic styling for improved fuel mileage and the lowest loading deck height in the industry. Acorn Mini Storage offers free* use of a moving truck for your move into a storage space of 10x10 or larger. We offer moving pads, appliance dollies, furniture and utility dollies, forearm forklifts, and ratcheting tie-downs to help to protect and secure your belongings during your move.
If you require packing and/or loading assistance we can connect you with Acorn Mini Storage / U-Haul Moving Helpers. The Moving Helpers offer packing and unpacking assistance as well as loading and unloading help. You select the services you prefer, the crew size for your job, and the hours of assistance that you need. You will receive an exact quote for your job, and you will reserve your help. Payment to your Moving Helpers is not authorized until your move is complete and you are completely satisfied.
